Pepperdine School of Law alumnus and civic leader Rick Caruso, whose signature centers have transformed Southland communities into destinations for shopping, strolling, and socializing, found both fascination and inspiration as a Los Angeles native son. Tapped at age 25 as Department of Water and Power commissioner and more recently as Los Angeles Police Commission president, Rick, like his alma mater, embraces L.A. with all of its challenges and opportunities. He will share his vision for the City of the Angels through our dinner theme, "Heart of the World."
