Freely Receive, Freely Give: Become a Career Volunteer

Many students are faced with the challenges of making major decisions in thei
r education when they know little about their profession. Mentors can share their knowledge and experience to help students achieve their educational and professional goals.

As a volunteer, you gain a sense of accomplishment and pride from having helped a future colleague and member of the Pepperdine family.

Join or search the worldwide network of alumni from all five of Pepperdine’s schools, serving as Career Mentors. These mentors support the career development of students and alumni by answering career-related questions and sharing about their professional experiences in the following ways:

  • Informational Interviews
  • Company Tours
  • Job Shadowing
  • Speaker for special events/on panels
  • Mentoring
  • Professional Presentation Tips

To sign up to be a career volunteer, please login to the Pepperdine Alumni Network (PAN) Online, click on career resources, and update your private career mentor profile.

Additional opportunities to participate in direct mentor programs may be found through your career office.
