20th Annual Step Forward Day ~ Bay Area Project

Step Forward Day began in 1988 with the vision of two students who recognized the need for volunteers in the local community and wanted to share their passion for service with their peers.
Today, the reach of Step Forward Day has grown to include over 60 community organizations spanning across the country and involves more than 1,700 alumni, parents, students, staff and faculty members.
To celebrate 20 years of service, the Bay Area Waves will be working with the East Bay Regional Park District to remove non-native French Broom plants from the hillsides of the Redwood Regional Park.
Please be sure to wear long sleeve shirts and pants because there may be poison oak present.
