Join the Pepperdine community for a special gathering at the home of alumna Shevaun Neupert ('98) before touring some of Raleigh's most famous homes. Each guest is asked to provide travel-sized toiletry items to donate to InterAct.

Meet fellow alumni, parents and friends for appetizers and desserts. Then, light up your Christmas season and take a walk through the past as homes in the Historic Oakwood neighborhood open their doors to visitors during the 38th annual Historic Oakwood Candlelight Tour.

InterAct is a private, non-profit agency of United Way that provides safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence.

Cost: Complimentary (a $25 value)

Please register by December 7 to guarantee advanced tickets for the tour.

Gathering location will be e-mailed to those who register for the holiday party.

Join your fellow "Dallas-Fort Worth Waves" as we kick off the holiday season with an unforgettable holiday party. Theme: Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and enter to win a new Pepperdine sweatshirt. Enjoy complimentary appetizers amongst fellow alumni, friends and family. Please bring at least one can of food as we will be making a donation for the Central Dallas Ministries. Don't miss out on the fun.

Celebrate the 2009 holiday season by joining the LA Waves on the Westside at the Shangrila Hotel for a night of networking and giving back. Invite alumni and friends to enjoy appetizers and a captivating view of Santa Monica. Alumni will be collecting toys to
donate to Miracles for Kids.

There is no cost to attend, but attendees are asked to donate a toy
and to register online.

Join the Orange County Waves for a special night of networking and holiday celebration to support the Children's Hospital of Orange County Book Drive.

Freely give to the children of CHOC this holiday season by donating a new children's book (appropriate for ages 6 months to 4 years old) and enjoy free appetizers at JT Schmid's Restaurant and Brewery!

As our final event for 2009, we want to come together in the spirit of giving to celebrate all that we can accomplish as alumni in service to others.

Cost: 1 children's book for ages 6 months to 4 years

This Christmas season, the Phoenix "Heat” Waves are adopting three families from the Phoenix area. The families we have chosen to adopt live well below the poverty line and are facing extraordinarily difficult times. The families include children who are making positive impacts on their peers and community in spite of their own challenging situations.

We need your help to make a difference in the lives of these families! We hope to share the holiday spirit by purchasing and wrapping Christmas gifts, new clothing and gifts for the children, gift cards for the parents, and food baskets of non-perishable food items.

Please also be prepared to have fun! We'll have food, holiday desserts, and a White Elephant Gift Exchange! So clean out your closet and bring something for someone else to “enjoy.”

Join the Portland Waves for a Christmas gathering at Godfathers Pizza and then attend the annual ZooLights at the Oregon Zoo. In the spirit of the season, we are asking for donations for two local charities. Friends of the Children are in need of warm mittens, hats and scarves or Central City Concern FAN program needs $10 gift cards to Target, Walmart or Fred Meyer. This event is complimentary to alumni and family. However, registration is limited.
