You are cordially invited to join Professor Gose and other alumni, parents, and friends for a free screening of Davis Guggenheim's An Inconvenient Truth (PG).  Guggenheim's riveting documentary provides a "global warning" as it traces Al Gore's campaign to make the issue of global warming a recognized problem worldwide. 

Prior to the screening, Pepperdine University's very own, Dr. Michael Gose, will be signing and sharing his newly released work, Getting Reel.  Getting Reel has been in the works for nearly 20 years now, taking shape under Dr. Gose's collaborative effort with nearly 2000 of his past film students.  Dr. Gose's work takes a social science perspective towards film, helping students and moviegoers alike unpack a movie's power and meaning.  Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!

• Wednesday, October 4th - Dinner at Calamigos Ranch and special screening of Prairie Home Companion.  Tickets: $50.
• Saturday, October 7th - Tribute to Robert Altman at the Malibu Castle.  Tickets: $275 single/$500 couple.
• Sunday, October 8th - Premiere of a documentary on the Real Life Gidget, a Malibu teen who inspired her father to write books.
