Audition:
- Agustín Barrios Mangoré's La catedral (all movements) (approximate time 7:00)
- J.S. Bach's "Chaconne" from the Violin Partita No. 2, transcribed by Andrés Segovia, Schott and Co. edition (approximate time 13:30)
- Free-choice music is also required with the total audition not to exceed thirty minutes.
Preliminary Round:
- Agustín Barrios Mangoré's La cathedral (approximate time 7:00). All movements

Semi-finals:
- J.S. Bach's "Chaconne" from the Violin Partita No. 2, transcribed by Andrés Segovia, Schott and Co. edition (approximate time 13:30).
- Free-choice music is also required with the total playing time not to exceed thirty minutes. Works from the first round may not be included in the second round.
Finals:
Any one of the following concertos is to be performed in the final:
- Rodrigo: Fantasía para un gentilhombre, Schott and Co. edition (approximate time 22:00)
- Rodrigo: Concierto de Aranjuez, Schott and Co. edition (approximate time 22:00)
- Castelnuovo -Tedesco: Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Schott and Co. edition (approximate time 20:00)
- Ponce: Concierto del Sur, Peer International Corporation edition (approximate time 25:00)
- Elmer Bernstein: Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra, Bernal Music "Themes and Variations" www.tnv.net (approximate time 22:00)
In addition to the concerto, finalists will present an encore piece of their choice, not to exceed five minutes that may be selected from a previous round.
