This musical production with a cast of five pays tribute to some extraordinary talents: Lena Horne, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Josephine Baker, and Sarah Vaughan, exploring their roles in American society during a time when "women were seen and not heard." From Horne's sophistication to Smith's independence, Holiday's tragic life, Baker's Paris performances, and Vaughan's comedic manner, it's a stylish celebration of these great ladies of song.
