This concert features music of passion composed by the most highly revered composers of the Spanish Golden Era. The program of vocal and instrumental works includes masterpieces by Tomás Luis de Victoria, Cristóbal de Morales, Juan Vasquez, Juan del Encina, Luys de Narváez, Luys Milán, Francisco Guerrero, Clemente Imaña, Hernando de Cabezón, and Francisco Correa De Arauxo.
