We are one of the more unique club sports on campus. We are self-coached, so we encourage players who are interested in leading by example and in dedicating themselves to a team mentality. Time commitment is minimal, but the time we do have is imperative to our success. At tryouts, which are held each year, the team is selected by returning officers, which is our chance to assemble a diverse and talented squad. Eligibility requirements include enrollment in a minimum of 12.0 units and a minimum G.P.A. of 2.0 at Pepperdine University.
We compete in the West Coast Soccer Association (WCSA) against club teams from other universities in the area and throughout California. Our season lasts for about two months in the fall semester, with several home games at Teri Frahm Rokus Field and a number of away matches at various universities.
Our goal is to be a major contender in our league and we believe we have the talent to do so. We expect players to be committed to the team and to be hard-working individuals in order for us to achieve this goal. We anticipate an excellent turnout at tryouts and we look forward to fielding a competitive team.
