Jesus said that the greatest command was to love God with our whole being—with heart, soul, strength, and mind. As C. S. Lewis once put it, "If you are thinking of being a Christian, I warn you: you are embarking on something that is going to take the whole of you, brains and all." What does that mean for Pepperdine? How does faith in God fit with the aims of higher education? This conversation brings four Seaver faculty members together to share why they came to Pepperdine and to explore the ways that their faith impacts their teaching and scholarship.

Jesus says in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." If you need prayer or would like to join others in lifting up Pepperdine and our communities in prayer, then please join us! Everyone is welcome to Stauffer Chapel from 12:30-1:00PM, Monday through Friday. We hope to see you there!
