Christian Scholars' Conference 2011

A Commitment to Diversity

Robert Lee Johnson Memorial Funding: Promoting Diversity & Commitment to PhD Students

The Christian Scholars' Conference is dedicated to the virtue of diversity which expands worldviews, fosters collegiality, demonstrates the highest quality of scholarship, and provides opportunity for all Christian scholars. We especially welcome Christian scholars of color to present and participate.

Recognizing the current under-representation of minority faculty in the colleges and universities associated with Churches of Christ, and to invest in our future, the CSC wishes to engage young scholars of color and all Church of Christ academics currently in Ph.D. programs.

To that end, the Robert Lee Johnson Memorial, established and sustained by participating universities and generous individuals, provides stipends for up to $500 for conference travel and registration. For additional information, please contact Larry Long, Harding University, Provost at .
