Newswaves broadcast

Pepperdine students are polishing their craft, whether in the newsroom or on location. The Graphic has been reporting on campus news for over 70 years, from print to the online edition. Our state-of-the-art television studio allows student newscasters and producers to refine their skills. They broadcast news, sports, and comedy shows on the Malibu-area, Time Warner cable channel 32.

Film studies majors with a digital media production emphasis have produced a new wave of student filmmaking.   From Malibu sunrises to campus celebrations, their distinctive work is viewable on a special Pepperdine Channel on Vimeo.

The annual Reel Stories Film Festival celebrates Pepperdine students' finest short films.   Celebrity judges like Jonah Nolan (The Dark Knight), Roko Belic (Genghis Blues) and Randall Wallace (Braveheart) have chosen the winners.  See the highlights here

Students have also gotten involved in writing and producing their own music releases.   Check out their sites on MySpaceYouTube and iTunes.
