The Bible says that God will not give us any burden we can not handle. Take respite in knowing you will overcome these difficulties. It is in our most difficult times, that we do not see God's footprints beside our own. It is because God is carrying us. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Lord, May you break our hearts and show us a way to help. Give us an understanding of the situation to better support your people. We remember that you continue to work through bad situations as much as the good ones, and we trust the same for this situation. Instill a sense of peace to the devastated country of Haiti, provide comfort to those with loss, and remind us of the greater hope that we all are called to have.
