Welcome to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE)

The primary mission of the Office of Institutional Research (OIE) is to provide vision and support for evidence-based decision making at Pepperdine University. We provide data reporting and analysis support to enhance student learning and strategic decision-making at the University. 

Our specific tasks are the following:

a) Plan and implement strategies to assess the extent to which the University achieves its mission and strategic goals.

b) Collect, organize, maintain, and analyze institutional and other data to support University decision making and planning.

c) Coordinate a comprehensive system of program reviews that contribute to the mission and strategic goals of the University.

d) Provide guidance and data support for the University’s learning outcomes assessment processes.

e) Provide institutional data to facilitate the process of reaffirmation of accreditation.

f) Assist the University's offices, schools and divisions in the design of survey instruments.
