Curriculum General Requirements Transfer Credit
Int'l Baccalaureate Pepperdine requires completion of the IB diploma with passes in six subjects: either three passes at the Standard Level and three passes at the Higher Level, or two passes at the Standard Level and four passes at the Higher Level. For IB transfer units that are available, click here. Official copy required Pepperdine grants 4 semester credits for each Higher Level IB courses with grades of 5 or better.
Advanced Placement Pepperdine does not require Advanced Placement exams, but if they are submitted, an official copy is required. Pepperdine grants up to 4 semester units per AP exam, depending on the exam. Please look at our current Advanced Placement Policy for required scores.
British 'A' Levels Pepperdine requires 2 A-Level passes (A-C) and 3 subject passes (A-C) in O-Level, CSE grade 1, or GCSE grades A-C. Official copy required Pepperdine grants 8 semester credits per Advanced Level courses with final grades of "C" or better.
French Baccalaureate Pepperdine requires completion of the The French Baccalaureate (Baccalauréat général). The Bac satisfies Pepperdine's requirement for high school completion with a minimum overall score of 10 (mention passable) from a lycée accredited by the French Ministry of Education. Official copy required Pepperdine grants 4 semester hours of credit (max 16) for exams passed with a score of 10 or higher and a coefficient of 4.
G.C.E Pepperdine requires completion of at least two Advanced Level passes and three GCSE or IGCSE (Ordinary Level) passes, or five Ordinary Level passes and 1 year of college course work. Official copy required Pepperdine grants credit for Advanced Level courses with final grades of "C" or better.
German Abitur Pepperdine requires completion of the Abitur Examination and receipt of the Reifezeugnis or Zeugnis der Reife, or the Allgemeinen Hochschulreife. Official copy required Pepperdine grants up to 30 semester hours of credit for students who pass the grade 13 courses with a minimum grade of 7.
Indian System Pepperdine requires completion of one of the following certificates in the academic stream with First Division standing: Higher Secondary Certificate, Intermediate Examination Certificate, All India Senior School Certificate, The Indian School Certificate. Official copy required None given.
Italian Maturita Pepperdine requires completion of the Maturità magistrale, professionale, tecnica, classica, cientifica, linguistica, d'arte applicata, artistica, or musicale with a minimum total score of 36. Official copy required For the Maturità tecnica, classica, scientifica, and linguistica, Pepperdine grants between 12 semester credits (for scores of 36- 45) and 16 semester credits (for scores of 46- 60).
