Windows ME and XP Home are not supported.  The upgrade to Windows XP Professional is available at most computer retail stores.  The Pepperdine University Computer Store also sells the full version of Windows XP Professional at an academic discount.

The warranty category is most applicable if a system is purchased new.  If you already own a computer, you should explore the option of an extended warranty to cover the duration of your academic career.  Contact the system manufacturer or the store where you purchased the system for extended warranty options.
