Using FrontPage 2003 or 2000 to Connect to the Students Web Server
Microsoft FrontPage 2003 (XP) and 2000 are programs for Windows computers to create and edit web pages. Below are instructions for accessing your student web folder.
To Access A Student Web Folder:
- Start FrontPage.
- Select Open Site (2003) or Open Web (2000) from the File menu.
- Select My Network Places from the Look In list, if necessary.
- In the Folder Name field, type the location of the Web Folder, for example:
https://students.pepperdine.edu/networkID (note the prefix "https") - Click Open.
- Type the following information in the Enter Network Password window:
- User Name: Type your NetworkID.
- Password: Type your network password.
- Domain: Type Student.
- Save Password: Recommended to leave blank.
or
- Name: Type Student followed by a backslash (\) followed by your NetworkID, for
example: "student\jmmeyers" (without the quotes).- Password: Type your network password.
- Click OK.
Note: Next time you can access your web folder by selecting your web from the Recent Webs under the File menu. If prompted for a password, type your network password.
