Bank of America Executive Brian T. Moynihan Gives Dean's Executive Leadership Lecture

The Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University continues the Dean's Executive Leadership Series with Brian T. Moynihan, president of consumer and small business banking at Bank of America. Moynihan will present his lecture at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Private Club in Downtown Los Angeles. A reception will precede the event at 5:30 p.m. 

A household name in banking, Bank of America is one of the world's largest financial institutions, serving consumers and businesses with a full range of banking, investing, asset management, and other financial products and services.

As president of consumer and small business banking for Bank of America, Moynihan oversees the service of 53 million U.S. consumer and small businesses though leading online and mobile banking platforms; more than 6,100 banking centers; 18,500 ATMs; nationwide call centers; payments processing, and image strategy. Credit card services are provided to customers in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, and Canada.

Prior to his current role, Moynihan led Global Banking and Wealth Management for Bank of America, overseeing the delivery of industry-leading financial services to individual and institutional investors, commercial businesses and large corporations, financial institutions and government entities across the United States and in more than 150 countries. Moynihan joined Bank of America in 2004 following the company’s merger with FleetBoston Financial. He joined Fleet in April 1993 as deputy general counsel.
Moynihan is a member of the bank’s executive management team. He chairs Bank of America’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Council. Formerly, he served as general counsel for the company.

Moynihan is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Notre Dame Law School. He serves on the boards of directors of YouthBuild Boston and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. He is a former chairman of the Travelers Aid Society of Rhode Island and Providence Haitian Project, Inc.

The Dean's Executive Leadership Series brings leading business practitioners and thought leaders to one of Pepperdine University’s campuses to discuss real-world challenges and opportunities facing the business community today.

Held each fall and spring, the series was created in Spring 2004 to help support the Graziadio School of Business and Management’s mission to provide business knowledge that is applied and relevant.
