Graduate School of Education and Psychology Hosts Cover Letter-Writing Professional Workshop

A cover letter may make the difference between obtaining a job interview or having your resume ignored, while a thank-you letter after a job interview can help you stand out from the herd in an overcrowded job market.

To that end, the Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) will host a professional Professional Development workshop titled "How to Write Effective Cover and Thank-You Letters" on Tuesday, July 24. The hour-long event will begin at 3 p.m. in Room 340 of the West Los Angeles Graduate Campus.

The Career Services staff will present the workshop, exploring ways to make your cover letter as compelling and tailored to the position as possible.
