Pepperdine Hosts Joint Graduate Mixer for Challenge 4 Charity

The four graduate schools of Pepperdine University and the graduate programs of Seaver College will band together in aid of Challenge 4 Charity (C4C) on Saturday, Nov. 17, for a joint a mixer event in Santa Monica. The evening will run from 7 to 10 p.m. in Zanzibar on 5th Street.

The band Lipstixx—comprised of Graziadio School students—will perform a live set for the attendees from Seaver College's graduate programs and Pepperdine's graduate schools: the Graduate School of Education and Psychology, the Graziadio School of Business and Management, the School of Law, and the School of Public Policy.

The MBA Challenge for Charity is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that draws on the talents, energy, and resources of MBAs from nine West Coast business schools (Pepperdine, Stanford, USC, UCD, UCI, UCLA, USF, UC Berkeley, and University of Washington) to raise funds and volunteer for the Special Olympics and other charities throughout the year.

The Pepperdine chapter represents C4C by aligning itself with the Special Olympics and the Children's Lifesaving Foundation. It actively works with these organizations by providing financial donations and volunteer assistance.

Entry is $10, with all proceeds going to C4C. For more information, contact Brandon Antin or visit the Challenge 4 Charity website.
