Pepperdine Wind Ensemble Performs Concert
The Pepperdine Wind Ensemble will perform a concert Thursday, Oct. 18, in Smothers Theatre, Malibu. The performance, directed by Tony Cason, will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Tony Cason is a visiting professor of music, as well as the University's orchestra conductor and coordinator of music. He teaches brass ensemble, brass methods, and symphonic literature at Seaver College. Learn more about his career in a story from Pepperdine Magazine.
The Pepperdine University Wind Ensemble, the newest performing ensemble at Pepperdine, is comprised of the most talented wind, brass and percussion students on the campus. Its repertoire ranges from traditional band literature, one-on-a part chamber works, world premieres, to contemporary works for wind band.
