School of Law Hosts 40th Annual Dinner

The Pepperdine School of Law will celebrate its history and heritage with the 40th annual School of Law Dinner Saturday, Feb. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the International Ballroom at the Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles. 

The program will feature a panel of alumni whose journeys and values epitomize the unique contribution that Pepperdine Law has made to the legal field. Panelists include: Michael J. Bidart (JD '74), 
senior and managing partner, Shernoff Bidart Echeverria Bentley LLP; Stephen M. Shefsky (JD '82), president and CEO, Cancap Investments, Ltd; Honorable Tricia A. Bigelow (JD '86), 
presiding justice, California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division Eight; Richard Cho (JD '97),
 general manager, Charlotte Bobcats; and Brittney M. Lane (JD '12), judicial clerk, Honorable Diarmuid F. O'Scannlain.

A special performance by George D. Rowe (JD '95)
 a songwriter with Universal Music and recording artist with Front Rowe Entertainment will entertain the crowd. An additional musical performance will include The Bernie James Jazz Septet.

This year's dinner will be accompanied by the "Alumni Challenge," which will offer special recognition to the class with the highest percentage of alumni in attendance.
