Pepperdine Libraries Opens New Exhibition “Color in Action: An Excellent Adventure”
An opening reception for a new exhibit, “Color in Action: An Excellent Adventure,” will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 22, in Payson Library, Malibu.
Created by Malibu High students and curated by Pepperdine art students, this exhibition is evidence of community and creativity in action and will be on display in Payson Library, Malibu, from March 22 to April 26.
Over the course of seven weeks, Pepperdine art students in professor Gretchen Batcheller's class have guided Malibu High students from the Life Skills/Special Needs classroom through a series of painting lessons to discover their own unique voice and expression.
The result: a colorful and dynamic body of work and new friendships.
