A mysterious will and the discovery of a hidden journal leaves a deceased architect's two children and their childhood friend to make sense of their families' combined history. The Theatre Department will stage a performance of Richard Greenberg's Three Days of Rain Tuesday to Friday, Oct. 8 to 11; Saturday, Oct. 12, at Lindhurst Theatre, Malibu.
As the reunion of the characters turns increasingly tense, the three of them confront questions that have dogged them all their lives: questions of love, family, and, most important, what happened 35 years before, in that very apartment, during three days of rain. The play was a 1998 Pulitzer Prize finalist.
Tickets for all performances are available by calling (310) 506-4522 from 12 noon to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and two hours prior to curtain time. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit the Center for the Arts Web site.
