Emily Scott-Lowe and her husband, Dennis Lowe, are nationally known marriage experts who have been featured in publications such as the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Redbook, Ladies' Home Journal, and Business Week. Together, the Lowes have conducted family and marriage seminars and counseled numerous couples and families throughout the United States and internationally.

Scott-Lowe is a licensed clinical social worker with twenty years of clinical experience. She received her master's degree in social work from the University of Tennessee and her doctorate in child development from Florida State University.
