Christopher Heard has published several works on the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament. His most recent articles deal with religion and the media by examining feature-length movies (e.g. Dogma) and animated films (e.g. All Dogs Go to Heaven). Heard has also been featured as an expert in various documentaries, including one touching on the religious themes of The Poseidon Adventure. Heard's key affiliations include membership in the Catholic Biblical Association, the National Association of Professors of Hebrew, and the Society of Biblical Literature.

Heard serves as a translation consultant for the World Bible Translation Center and has evaluated various translations of Old Testament books including Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Isaiah. Heard received his master's degree in the Old Testament from Abilene Christian University and his doctorate in religious studies from Southern Methodist University.

John Wilson has extensive experience as a field archaeologist and as a writer and lecturer on Archaeology in the Middle East, particularly of the relationship of Archaeology and Christianity and New Testament Archaeology. He has lectured in numerous universities under the sponsorship of the American Institute of Archaeology as well as such institutions as the Biblical Archaeology Society, the British Museum in London and Oxford University. He also has extensive experience with media, especially television, having appeared numerous times on networks such as the History Channel, A & E, Discovery, etc. He has also written and produced television programs dealing with religion and history. He is Professor of Religion, Emeritus, at Pepperdine University, where he directed the Institute for the Study of Archaeology and Religion. He was the Dean of Seaver College of Arts, Letters and Sciences at Pepperdine for 15 years, and a Professor of Religious Studies at Missouri State University for many years. Wilson's publications include the definitive work on a site where he dug, Caesarea Philippi: Banias, the Lost City of Pan, a widely used textbook, Religion: A Preface, and numerous scholarly articles.
