Star Bulletin, July 25, 2008 – Angela Hawken, assistant professor of public policy, was mentioned in a story titled, “Program helps drug offenders break cycle,” in which it was reported that her studies of Hawaii’s Opportunity Probation with Enforcement (HOPE) program found drug users stayed away from relapse easier with the program than without.
