Religion News Service, May 12, 2010 – Darryl Tippens, University Provost, was interviewed for an article titled, "10 Minutes With….Darryl Tippens," in which he discussed Pepperdine's international symposium of sacred a cappella music, The Ascending Voice II, which was held May 12 to 15. NPR, May 11, 2010 - Michael Shires, associate professor of public policy, was interviewed on NPR's Talk of the Nation for a story titled, "The Job Search: Have You Moved For Work?" to discuss his study of the best and worst cities for jobs. In addition, Shires was quoted in a Ventura County Star article on May 11, titled, "Supervisor Candidates Facing their Loss," in which he commented upon Ventura County primary election local candidates Linda Parks and Audra Strickland.
