Religion News Service, May 12, 2010 – Darryl Tippens, University Provost, was interviewed for an article titled, "10 Minutes With….Darryl Tippens," in which he discussed Pepperdine's international symposium of sacred a cappella music, The Ascending Voice II, which was held May 12 to 15. NPR, May 11, 2010 - Michael Shires, associate professor of public policy, was interviewed on NPR's Talk of the Nation for a story titled, "The Job Search: Have You Moved For Work?" to discuss his study of the best and worst cities for jobs. Read the article and listen to the interview. In addition, Shires was quoted in a Ventura County Star article on May 11, titled, "Supervisor Candidates Facing their Loss," in which he commented upon Ventura County primary election local candidates Linda Parks and Audra Strickland.
