No. 1 Pepperdine Men's Volleyball Team Defeats No. 2 UC Irvine

Pepperdine Men's Volleyball beat UC Irvine

The top-ranked Pepperdine Waves men's volleyball team were pushed to the limit on Saturday, Mar. 31, at Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu by second-ranked UC Irvine Anteaters, who saw their 10-match win streak come to an end in a 3-2 (28-30, 30-20, 30-25, 22-30, 15-13) defeat in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) play.

The Waves outblocked the Anteaters (22-4, 15-4 MPSF) by an 18-12 margin and were led by Tom Hulse's 10 and Gaudino and Schleppenbach's six. Click here for more details of the team's win.
