Seaver College Students Present the American Classic Our Town

The Pepperdine University Fine Arts Division Theatre Department will present Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Our Town from Tuesday, April 10, through Saturday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m., at Pepperdine's Smothers Theatre in Malibu.
Danny Campbell directs the student cast, which features David Sheftell as the Stage Manager (the narrator), Ken Korpi as George Gibbs, and Sarah Campbell as Emily Webb.
Our Town, for which Wilder won the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for drama, has become an American classic. In three acts, it follows the cycles of daily life, love, marriage, and death in a small New Hampshire town beginning in 1901 and ending in 1913. The play's simple yet compelling prose is underscored by a strikingly bare stage.
Tickets, priced at $15 for the public, $10 for Pepperdine students, and $12 for Pepperdine faculty and staff, are available through the Pepperdine Center for the Arts Box Office at (310) 506-4522. Tickets for the general public are also available through Ticketmaster at (213) 365-3500. For more information, please visit the Center for the Arts Web site.
