Pepperdine Faculty Discuss Results of February 5 Primary Elections
Distinguished author and analyst Steven Hayward will speak at the School of Law on Thursday, Feb. 7, to discuss the results of the Super Tuesday primaries. Hayward will participate in a dialogue with School of Law dean Kenneth Starr, School of Public Policy acting dean Robert Kaufman, and School of Law professors Ed Larson and Douglas Kmiec. The event will take place at 12:30 p.m. in room SR1 at the Law School.
"It is especially good to have an author on presidential leadership come to the campus so soon after Super Tuesday. Hayward has an incisive and wide-ranging mind," said School of Public Policy vice chancellor Michael Warder.
Steven Hayward is a F.K. Weyerhaeuser Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research. He is an illustrious author who studies the environment, law, political economy, and the presidency. He has written several books, including Churchill on Leadership, The Real Jimmy Carter, and The Age of Reagan. He is the coauthor of the annual Index of Leading Environmental Indicators and writes AEI's Environmental Policy Outlook.
The event is sponsored by the Federalist Society and the School of Public Policy. The lecture is open to Pepperdine students, faculty, and staff.
