New Graziadio Business Report is Available Online
The final issue of the 2008 Graziadio Business Report, which publishes four times annually, has hit the Web and can be read, shared and commented on at http://gbr.pepperdine.edu.
As a scholarly online journal, the Graziadio Business Report delivers relevant information and analysis for business, government, and non-profit managers. This edition focuses on the economy, with highlights including, “What Happened to the U.S. Housing Market?” in which authors Peggy Crawford and Terri Young examine the role that sub-prime mortgages and the fall of Fannie and Freddie played in the crisis. Darrol J. Stanley contributes his editorial, "Crisis in America: A Nation at Risk," in which he opines that middle-class Americans must rescue America to save themselves. The new issue also includes "Book Corner," in which Michael Kinsman, professor of finance and accounting, takes a close look at three new books on surviving and thriving in today's real estate market.
Readers can also listen to an audio interview in which GBR Associate Editor Danielle L. Scott picks the brain of CEO Coach John Rehfeld about corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley, and the "Business Judgment Rule."
The Graziadio Business Report is a publication of the Graziadio School of Business and Management of Pepperdine University. GBR's offices are located at Pepperdine's West Los Angeles campus. For more information or to subscribe, visit the Web site or contact the GBR staff at gbr@pepperdine.edu.
