New 'Graziadio Business Report' is Available Online
The second issue of the 2009 Graziadio Business Report, which publishes four times annually, has hit the Web and can be read, shared and commented on at http://gbr.pepperdine.edu.
As a scholarly online journal, the Graziadio Business Report delivers relevant information and analysis for business, government, and non-profit managers. This edition touches on topics ranging from real estate to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in the workplace. Highlights include, “Owner-Occupied Commercial Real Estate for the Entrepreneur,” in which authors Alphonse Lordo, MBA, and Michael Kinsman, CPA, Ph.D., offer practical advice on profiting from commercial real estate in the United States. Nancy Ellen Dodd, MFA, MPW, contributes her editorial, "Writing a Business Plan to Attract Investors," in which she offers advice on the best time for a start-up, approaching investors, and writing a good business plan.
The new issue also includes "Book Corner," in which various reviewers assess 13 new business books, such as, In the Land of Difficult People: 24 Timeless Tales Reveal How to Tame Beasts at Work, by Terrence L. Gargiulo and Gini Graham Scott, and Iconoclast: A Neuroscientist Reveals How to Think Differently by Gregory Berns.
Readers can also listen to an audio interview with Intercontinental Exchange Chairman and Founder Jeff Sprecher, as GBR Associate Editor Danielle L. Scott asks him about how to leverage opportunities in the current economic climate.
