Won By One Performance Group Kicks Off Summer Tour

Won By One, Pepperdine’s six-member a capella performing group, began its summer tour this week in Anthem, Arizona, where they performed at the Canyon Church of Christ. They are currently performing in New Mexico before heading to Texas for a 13-day tour of the state. The group will conclude the summer season with a performance at Sierra Bible Camp in Canyondam, California, on Wednesday, July 20.  

This year, the group consists of Elaina Williamson, a junior from Oklahoma; Kate Pauley, a junior from Texas; Lauren Burnham, a junior from New Mexico; Rmani Crawford, a freshman from New York; Jamie Howard, a freshman from California; and Matt Baker, a senior from California.

Won By One works in connection with the department of Church Relations and the Office of Admission to strengthen ties between Pepperdine and the Churches of Christ and to recruit Christian students for the University. In addition to its work for Pepperdine, Won By One is a dynamic music ministry that seeks to bring its audiences closer to God through its performances and recordings. Its members are chosen by audition each year and must demonstrate musical ability, academic excellence, personality, and spiritual commitment.
