Welcome, off-campus employers! Thank you for choosing to support the education of our students through the student employment experience. Off-campus employers may use the services of the Student Employment Office to hire Pepperdine students. All employers (nonprofit organizations, for-profit companies, and private citizens) may use our free job portal website called CareerSpace to list available positions (see instructions below on how to access CareerSpace). The most commonly posted part-time positions for students are tutoring, babysitting/part-time nanny, dog walking, house-sitting, and serving as a personal assistant.
Students also have access to the student version of CareerSpace, where they are able to view the various job listings. Students will be instructed to contact you directly with job inquiries. All jobs must have a base pay of $9.00 or more. Job postings will be removed automatically after a set period of time. Please allow 1 to 3 business days for the registration and job listings to be approved.
We reserve the right to refuse service to employers due to any of the following: requiring at the time of application personal information such as Social Security numbers; misrepresentation by dishonest information or absence of information; inability to certify the employer or business; fraud; harassment of Pepperdine University students or staff; breach of confidentiality; failure to adhere to these policies and/or any violation of Pepperdine University rules and regulations, and local, state, or federal laws. See the State of California's Department of Industrial Relations website for more information.
If you are interested in posting a job at Pepperdine, and if it is your first time to use our services, please follow these steps:
If your registration has been approved and you would like to post a job, and/or if you are an experienced user of CareerSpace and would like to post and/or renew a previous posting, please follow these steps:
If the student accepts the job and you do not require additional help, remove the job listing online or contact us so that we can remove the job from CareerSpace.

We are grateful to have individuals like you who provide opportunities for our students. Please let us know if you have any questions.
