Waves of Flags

Description:
Waves of Flags is a display commemorating the tragic event of 9/11 in our nation's history. This display serves as a memorial of the many lives that were lost on that day. We invite students, staff, facutly, alumni and community members to join us in putting up the flag display on Alumni Park.

Volunteers are needed to drive rebar stakes into the ground using an electric hammer drill for 9/11 flag display. Volunteers will also place a cap on the exposed rebar and surround the work area with orange caution fence. Work is fairly labor intensive and will require eye protection and gloves (provided by the University). Clothing should be appropriate for this type of labor and should include close-toed shoes and a hat. Water and sunscreen are suggested.
