Education, Literacy and After School
America Reads
Work in local elementary schools to help students who struggle with reading skills through the initiative America Reads.
Boys and Girls Club of Malibu
Build relationships with and tutor teens in your own backyard at the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu. Assist teens with homework in various subjects and spend meaningful time with them through art projects, games, and recreation. Semester commitment preferred.
Camp David Gonzales
Positively influence a young man through mentoring and tutoring at Camp David Gonzales, a juvenile probation facility. Hours are flexible, but a semester commitment is required.
Camp Miller/Camp Kilpatrick
Looking for Camp Kilpatrick? Unfortunately, the PVC is no longer partnering with Camp Kilpatrick due to the camp's reconstruction in the near future. Instead, the PVC is now partnering with their neighboring juvenile probation camp called Camp Miller. Semester commitment required.
Language Connection
Equip Spanish-speakers at the Malibu Labor Exchange with basic English conversation skills that will benefit them in their daily life and work. Volunteers do not need to know Spanish.
The Kingdom Center
Support The Kingdom Center, a "Christ Centered Transitional Living Center" holistically serving the homeless in Ventura County.
