I am honored to be one of Pepperdine's 40 under 40. This achievement demonstrates the way that Pepperdine prepared me to be an entrepreneur and the core values it instilled in me. It also reflects my hard work as an entrepreneur and the victories and challenges that lie within journey.

Describe your success:

I currently own a company called Lemonlight. Our team has grown to 30 people in two years. We measure our success on team happiness, client happiness, and financial growth, all of which have steadily increased month over month since inception.

How does Pepperdine play into your success?

Who inspires you and why?

I derive inspiration from everyone around me—my parents, my colleagues, my brother, my team, my friends, my competitors. Every relationship has the opportunity to open my eyes to a new experience and expand my thought field.

What's next for you? What's your five year outlook? What's your ten year plan?

I'd like to grow my current company and explore a strategic exit strategy. I'd likely start a new company or investment firm and continue to hone my skills as an entrepreneur and help others do the same. I'd also like to start a family.

What's your secret sauce?

Hard work

How do you prepare for a busy day?

Wake up early. Avoid coffee. Listen to music as often as possible to keep me focused on the tasks at hand.
