Atlanta Waves: Jazz Night at the High Museum

Private Tour and Live Music: 7:30 - 10 PM

This night is all that jazz. Meet the Atlanta Waves at Table 1280 for a no-host gathering with the chapter board members. Then take a private docent tour of the featured photography exhibit at the High Museum of Art. Finish off your night by listening to jazz music alongside fellow alumni, parents, family, and friends.

About Friday Jazz featuring MASTERY:

May's Friday jazz features jazz quintet MASTERY, performing the original compositions of bassist and leader Mamaniji Azanyah, as well as works by the masters. From the sublime to the electrifying, MASTERY uplifts, excites, and inspires its audiences.

About the High Museum of Art:

The High is the leading art museum in the Southeastern U.S. With more than 15,000 works of art in its permanent collection, the High has an extensive anthology of 19th- and 20th-century American and decorative art; significant holdings of European paintings; a growing collection of African American art; and burgeoning collections of modern and contemporary art, photography, folk art and African art. The High is also dedicated to supporting and collecting works by Southern artists.

About Table 1280:

Table 1280 boasts a menu featuring local, farm-to-fork offerings for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant offers a wide array of choices which includes fresh sandwiches, soups and salads and full entrees with several gourmet side choices. Table 1280 offers wines by the glass in several varietals, hand-crafted cocktails and ice-cold bottled beer.
