A little soulful music, a little sand, and a whole lot of scholarship! Join the Black Alumni Council for the 4th Annual Sound Investment Benefit Concert. For the second year in a row, the Black Alumni Council will be awarding a total of $25,000 in scholarship to exemplary African American students from all five schools of Pepperdine. Celebrate these hard-working and dedicated students as they are each awarded a $5,000 scholarship for demonstrating leadership and involvement within the African American community. Guests will also enjoy incredible cuisine and live music from Mark Felton and the Groove Alliance, all while ocean-front at the beautiful Hotel Maya.

All net proceeds from this event will go towards the Black Alumni Council scholarship fund. 

Pre-paid self-parking will be available through the online registration process at $6 per car. Please Note: Parking is included with all VIP tickets.
Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.

Ticket Pricing:

  • VIP Tickets: $130 (Register before September 15 for early bird pricing of $100). 
    VIP Admission includes parking, hosted wine, and hors d'oeuvres.
  • General Admission: $65 (Register before September 15 for early bird pricing of $50).
    Includes hosted hors d'oeuvres.
