Pepperdine Family Camp Leader Application -­‐ Summer 2015

Pepperdine Family Camp is pleased to offer you the chance to learn and serve as a part of a leadership training program. By participating as a leader, you will be given the opportunity to develop skills in critical thinking, program development, customer service, and many other valuable leadership skills. Additionally, you will gain hands-­‐on leadership experience and mentoring relationships with Alumni and professionals.


Leaders will participate in an intensive leadership program, First Aid & CPR certification, various development trainings, and camp operations. This leadership opportunity is available to current Pepperdine undergraduate students. Family Camp leaders will receive complimentary housing and meals, as well as a scholarship award upon completion.

Participants must commit to being available Friday, July 24 -­‐ Sunday, August 9. Application due Friday, April 3.


Join one of our leadership teams!


Kids Camp Leader: Responsible for leading activities, excursions and games with specific age groups. Helps organize kid’s activity schedules and helps create a fun and safe atmosphere. Experience working with children preferred.


Hospitality Leader: Manages customer relations and activity sign-­‐ups for guests. Includes office tasks and leading Adult activities.

Events Leader: Assists with the organization of all family activities. Includes public speaking and event coordination.


Area Coordinator: Responsible for overseeing an area at camp (Kid’s Camp, Hospitality, or Events). Will help develop that area, manage the leaders and problem solve. Experience leading peers preferred. Additional training required.
