Medical Escort Service and Accessible Parking
Because of the campus terrain and the limited parking available on campus, Pepperdine is pleased to offer a medical escort service for people with chronic medical conditions and disabilities, temporary or permanent. This service eliminates the need for parking passes, as anyone can call or schedule for rides from point A to point B. Please call Department of Public Safety (DPS) at 310-506-4442 to receive a medical escort on campus.
*Please note that a minimum 15-20 minute lead time is necessary on any of these requests.
You may also create a pick-up schedule with DPS for transport to classes on a regular schedule. Please send your schedule and your cell phone number to DPS at DPSrides@Pepperdine.edu to establish communication with the medical escort team.
If you use a wheelchair or need assistance getting in and out of car, please contact Transit Services at 310.506.4802 for transportation service.
If you qualify for a DMV disability placard and have currently have the placard, please go to the DPS office in the Center for Communication and Business for access to parking lots. To see if you qualify for a DMV placard, please find information here
Please note: Placard abuse can result in the cancellation and revocation of the placard and loss of the privileges it provides, and is punishable by an applicable penalty.
