Elizabeth Holmes, founder and CEO of a thriving Silicon Valley-based company, and the youngest female billionaire in America, will deliver the commencement address at Seaver College at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, at the Malibu Campus. The University will bestow its highest honor, an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree, on Holmes. Read more

School of Public Policy

Veteran news correspondent and political commentator Brit Hume will deliver the commencement address at the School of Public Policy graduation at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 17. The University will bestow an honorary Doctor of Laws degree on Hume during the ceremony. Read more

Graziadio School of Business and Management

The business school will host its commencement ceremony Saturday, Apr. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at Firestone Fieldhouse on the Malibu campus. Receiving an honorary Doctor of Business degree will be Fred Sands, chair of Vintage Real Estate, LLC, a firm specializing in the acquisition and redevelopment of underperforming regional malls and large shopping centers. Read more

Lanier, one of the top trial lawyers in the United States, will deliver the commencement address at the School of Law graduation at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 15. The University will bestow an honorary Doctor of Laws degree on Lanier during the ceremony. Read more

Graduate School of Education and Psychology

Hargrave, a professor of marriage and family therapy at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, Calif., and president and practicing therapist at Amarillo Family Institute, will deliver the commencement address at the psychology division ceremony at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16. Hargrave will also be presented with an honorary Doctor of Psychology degree during the ceremony. Read more
