Christian Harvard MBAs John Cortines and Greg Baumer to Present Book about Faith and Finances

Christian authors and Harvard Business School graduates John Cortines and Greg Baumer will present their new book, God and Money, at Elkins Auditorium on the Malibu campus on Tuesday, April 19, at 7 PM.

Cortines and Baumer will discuss their story of God’s transforming power, and offer a look at a practice of abundant and joyful giving they call “radical generosity.”

As lifelong Christians, the authors each tithed regularly. However, they did not give much thought to the intersection of faith and money until 2014, when they met at Harvard University and began to research such spiritual questions.

Their exploration of God and Money will expand on the audacious conclusion that God calls Christians to a far more essential task than building wealth. He calls them to give plentifully, and to lay aside their tendencies to become spenders or savers.
