School of Law to Host "For the People" Screening and Panel

Pepperdine School of Law will host a free screening of the pilot episode of the new ABC legal drama series For the People at Smothers Theatre in Malibu on Monday, March 5, at 8:30 PM. Attendees will be among the first audiences to watch the series.

A panel discussion will immediately follow the screening and will feature a lively conversation between the Shondaland show creator Paul William Davies, series cast members, and Pepperdine School of Law dean, Paul Caron.

The new television series, created by Davies and the executive producers of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder, features six young attorneys on opposite sides of the law at one of the nation’s most prestigious courts, New York’s Southern District Court, commonly referred to as the “Mother Court.”

For the People will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, March 13, at 10 PM.
