The Empire Builders
By Boris Vian
Bradley Griffin, Director
French playwright Boris Vian's 1959 avant-garde play strikes eerily prescient notes with its story of a family terrorized by a strange, unearthly sound. As they continually move from room to room to escape their fear, they find their world increasingly constricted. Infused with liberal doses of dark comedy, Vian's play explores what happens when personal identity is replaced by mass paranoia.
