Dean's or University Professor Chair
To provide annual funding of a Dean's position or of a permanent, full-time faculty position at the Chair level, in any academic major or discipline serving all five schools of the University.
Funding required: $5 million
Faculty Chair
To provide annual funding of a permanent, full-time faculty position at the Chair level, in any academic major or discipline at one of the University's five schools.
Funding required: $3 million
Professorship
To provide annual funding of a faculty position at the professor level, in any academic major or discipline at the University.
Funding required: $2 million
Fellowship (Faculty and Graduate School)
To provide annual funding for faculty research and scholarship, or to provide annual scholarship funding to students (fellows) who meet the stated qualifying criteria, as set out in agreement by the University and the donor.
Funding required: $100,000 +
Endowed Scholarship
To provide annual scholarships to students who meet the stated qualifying criteria, as set out in the scholarship agreement signed by the University and the donor.
Funding required: $100,000 +
Institute/Center
To provide students with advanced instruction and research opportunities in a relatively narrow field of study, as well as offering valuable hands-on experience in serving a particular group or community.
Funding required: $3 million to $5 million
Lecture Series (Endowed)
Provides students, alumni, faculty, and staff access to noted leaders, scholars, authors, and public figures from around the world. An avenue to engage the Pepperdine community in thoughtful conversation about today's global issues and local concerns.
Funding required: $1 million to $2 million
Loan-Forgiveness Program (Endowed)
Provides partial or full loan forgiveness for students who have chosen to work in public service professions after graduation.
Funding required: $100,000 +
Non-Endowed Scholarship
Used for scholarships or existing programs.
Annual funding required: $10,000 +
