International Programs

Pepperdine University owns and operates international campuses in six locations worldwide and provides immersive educational experiences across six continents. Since 1963 Pepperdine’s international programs have offered dynamic learning opportunities that expand students' hearts, minds, and worldviews.

Global Justice

The Sudreau Global Justice Institute at Pepperdine’s Caruso School of Law provides law students and practicing attorneys academic training and hands-on opportunities around the world to advocate on behalf of those in need of justice. Endowed by alumna Laure Sudreau (JD ’97), the Sudreau Institute helps justice system leaders rethink and revise their practices to better serve their communities as staff and students train local practitioners in new justice provision and advocacy methods, defend those in need of representation, and work with governments around the world to provide people access to justice.

Dispute Resolution for Global Conflict

The Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine’s Caruso School of Law prepares legal professionals to be effective negotiators, peacemakers, and problem solvers through dispute resolution. For more than a decade, Straus has been ranked among the nation's best programs by U.S. News and World Report for its offerings, which include master of laws and master of dispute resolution programs and a certificate in dispute resolution. Straus has expanded its offerings to include strategic international dispute resolution, which covers conflict mitigation, peace-building, cross-border conflict, and advanced impasse-breaking strategies.

Program on Global Faith and Inclusive Societies

The Program on Global Faith and Inclusive Societies is a new research program pioneering innovative solutions to contemporary persecution impacting people of all faiths and none. Based out of Pepperdine University’s Washington, DC campus and funded by the Templeton Religion Trust, Knox Thames directs the program with support from the Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, School of Public Policy, and Center for Faith and the Common Good.

Château d’Hauteville Campus

Pepperdine University’s newest international campus, Château d'Hauteville, located in Blonay - Saint-Légier, Switzerland, will open in July 2023 and serve as Pepperdine’s global hub for learning and leadership development. Undergraduate and graduate students will live and study on the 90-acre European-style estate in Switzerland. The Château d’Hauteville will also serve as a world-class venue for retreats, conferences, and lectures on topics of global significance.
