Congratulations to Ray Meltvedt ('82)!

Congrats to the newest Waves of Service Award Winner, Ray Meltvedt ('82), who was recogized by Seaver College Alumni Affairs during the Waves of Success Luncheon, April 27.  Ray's incredible work with Club Dust and Feeding Somalia has had a tremendous impact.  More than 10,000 volunteers, including many Pepperdine students and alumni, have helped build more than 1,000 homes for those in need.  The organization also provides school uniforms and bikes to impoverished children in the regions they serve.  Since Ray founded Feeding Somalia in 2011, the nonprofit has distributed more than 2,000,000 meals to people living in refugee camps.  Check out the Waves of Service blog this month to read his story!
