While Jeanna Kindle, PhD (MA '12) serves as Chief Acquisitions Officer for the LA Regional Food Bank, is an active volunteer at the Drug & Crime Free Youth Foundation. This grassroots non-profit focuses on providing mentoring and social entrepreneurship experiences for youth and young adults. In an effort to learn what's important to local youth and stay engaged with them, Jeanna believes it is important to give her time to provide encouragement and inspiration. She started serving with the Youth Foundation with her son when he was in high school; he is now graduating college and they still volunteer together.

Her daily goal is to do something good for someone in need. In the short-term, she hopes to make a positive impression that will inspire others and ultimately leave her section of the world a little better.
